Planning Your Writing
Everyone has a book in them, but getting it out isn't easy. This is a course for anyone who has an idea for a book or play, but hasn't started writing it yet and want some help before they do.
Over seven modules the course will help you to turn your idea into a story, and to turn your story into a book or play, with practical guidance on planning your story, writing synopses and outlines, developing plots and sub-plots, creating characters who will drive your story forward, and using research to bring your story and characters to life. The course will also look at options for publication after you finish your writing.
The course can be taken online, as personal tuition, on a group basis, or as any combination of these. You will receive written feedback on all homework, and can work at your own pace, so that you don’t have to rush exercises or homework.
