A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO POPULISM
Easter weekend 2020. The height of lockdown. Not that it has stopped the Gower family from gathering at their Highland retreat to celebrate their daughter’s engagement to the son of the founder of one of America’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Their celebrations are cut short when Detective Inspector Anne Gould arrives unannounced. She’s not there to question them about the breach of lockdown rules. She is investigating the death of a foreign woman found in an Edinburgh flat with her three month old baby by her side.

Its first public performance was a rehearsed reading at the cornerHOUSE in Surbiton on 26 April 2024. It is scheduled to have a full run at The Church Hill Theatre in Edinburgh from 22 to 25 May 2024.
