Heart Shaped Box
Set in 2000, Kurt Cobain may have been dead for six years, but the legacy of his life, and, more importantly, his death, still loom large in the memories of Diana and Lawrence, after their friend killed himself shortly after his hero did the same thing. As Diana faces the prospect of seeing a group of his friends for almost the first time since his death, she discovers that people have different ways of coping with loss, or forgetting about lives not lived.
Directed by Andy Moseley 'Heart Shaped Box' was performed at the OFS Studio in 2010 as part of a double bill with 'Are You Lonesome Tonight' for Oxfringe 2010 and was updated and revived in 2015 for a staged reading at the cornerHOUSE in Surbiton.
'Perfectly pitched in performance, direction and script. Andy Moseley manages to shift between comedy and tragedy seamlessly... The script is particularly successful in taking twists which could feel clichéd and making them feel fresh.' Fringe Report.com
